Thought Leadership
Human Connection - and how I build it.
A guiding thought
"No man is an island, Entire of itself, Every man is a piece of the continent, A part of the main..."
- John Donne
No one is truly alone. We are all deeply interconnected, relying on each other in many ways, whether it be support, fulfillment, or just being seen.
This is not to say that we cannot be independent of each other and are not capable of self-sufficiency. But rather, our growth and enrichment comes from leaning on and building with each other - sharing in those moments to become more than who we are.
When we build strong relationships with each other as a Team, something magical happens. We start to feel valued by others and want to give meaningful value in return.
My journey is to continuously grow and improve Teams through our individual and collective ways of working in order to positively affect the systems we work in.
Team Growth
The Power of Reflection.
One of the best tools that a Team has is the Retrospective - the power to reflect in order to exact change in how we work.
Every month, I design a Retrospective template for Miro so that the broader community can find exciting ways to engage while learning and growing.

Story Telling
Stories Worth Sharing.
Teams are so busy innovating and creating great things that they do not have time to celebrate.
What if we take a moment to observe their accomplishments and share them? Stories feel real when we can share them with others.
What's one story you can share about the Teams you have worked with?

Inclusivity
Authentic Spaces.
What I love about being an Agile Coach are the connections I make outside of the Teams. For example, supporting PacWomen at Paciolan was one of my greatest joys. Working with incredible women and curating a space where they could be their authentic selves, to engage in topics that were near and dear to their hearts and to support them in their own growth, while they created and facilitated spaces themselves, were all mic drop moments to me!
Community Sharing
Beyond the Organization.
As an Agile Coach, engagement does not stop within the organization you support. Every workshop created is an opportunity to engage the broader Agile community, to learn and share better ways of working.
I have had the pleasure to design and facilitate sessions at AgileSocal in 2021 and 2024.
